Josh's Frogs Bioactive Booster is a safe, effective way to accelerate the cycling process in your bioactive environment. Bioactive Booster contains beneficial fungi and trace elements that will help plants and microfauna populations establish and grow faster. Together, they process unwanted nutrients. In new vivariums, cycling is important because it breaks down your pet’s waste, keeping the enclosure clean. If the microfauna populations aren’t given time to establish before adding your pet, they can be eaten and wiped out.
If they are added in advance, there may not be enough food for them to establish in a brand new environment. Even in existing vivariums, it is important to keep the cycle going so that your pet doesn’t get sick. Mature plants can exhaust the nutrients in the substrate and start to struggle or the microfauna populations could have grown so much that they need supplemental feeding. How to Use: Simply sprinkle Josh's Frogs Bioactive Booster on the surface of your substrate, then turn the substrate to mix Bioactive Booster throughout. In existing setups, Bioactive Booster can be lightly sprinkled on the surface of the substrate every few months, then sprayed with water until it is no longer visible.
Apply one shake per square foot of substrate. Shelf Life: The beneficial fungal spores used remain dormant in a dried state for years. They're not active until they encounter water, so as long as they are kept dry, as in this bottle, they remain viable for years to come. Trace Elements and Minerals: Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Silicon, Chlorine, Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Boron, Calcium, Sodium, Cobalt, Copper, Sulfur, Molybdenum, and Zinc and other trace elements.
